We wish to announce that the generation of Free Ramadan Meal “Support Tickets” starts Sunday 18th April 2021.
Hundreds of trained Volunteers known as “Uncle” and “Aunty” GivFree spread across 774 LGAs serving as Community Based Organisations are responsible for the facilitation of free Iftar meals to those that deserved to be supported.
As you can see that some of our GAV Members have participated in the test-run exercise as part of the preparation to ensure the smooth facilitation of free food across the local community. In the photos is one of the Uncle GivFree in Malunfashi carrying on with #GivFree2Community service after getting the ticket his Support Tickets funded by a Donor on our platform.
In practical terms, this explains how Humanity Wallet works and how the donor is free to choose the tickets to fund. The tickets are more of invoices generated by the Volunteers via the vendor’s shops that exist on the GivFree Africa platform.
It is important to note that like the free Ramadan meal tickets are generated, tickets on other items under the following major categories can also be generated and be given to people for free: Education, Health, Welfare, and Shelter. Every ticket can also be shared on Facebook to attract prospective donors.
Therefore, the platform is open to everyday givers willing to support vulnerable families, groups, and individuals that are economically disadvantaged or by any circumstance rendered vulnerable. We are calling on citizens across the globe to sign up and fund their humanity wallets for the sake of touching lives near or far. Let us all work towards uplifting our humanity status.
