IMPACT REPORT ON RAMADAN MEAL PROJECT, 2021.

Significant improvement was recorded in the lives of individuals and communities in 17 states across Nigeria. This includes FCT, Yobe, Adamawa, Gombe, Bauchi, Borno, Taraba, Niger, Kano, Sokoto, Katsina, Kebbi, Kaduna, Lagos, Zamfara, Akwa-Ibom, Plateau. A total of Three Thousand and Ninety-Six (3,096) individual beneficiaries across 17 states, and 41 local government areas of the country were reached during the Iftar meal – and a total of 53 registered vendors on the platform were as well patronized.

This was evident through multiple sources of data collated during the one-month free Ramadan Meal project of GivFree Africa, under the GivFree2Community programme with volunteers spread across LGAs serving as CBOs/NGOs in their immediate communities, to facilitate basic items related to welfare, education, shelter & health. From the data collated, it was evident that several lives were touched during this period.

Testimonies from individual beneficiaries through our volunteers are proof of the lives that were affected as a result of the project. It gave them a sense of comfort, knowing they had the extra support from persons (donors) through the GivFree Africa platform with a heart to attend to their individual needs without a need for physical contact.

Utilization and spreadsheet data in Nigeria most especially states impacted also provided evidence that an outcome objective was obtained, as a total of 35 communities were impacted and their welfare improved twice the normal during the period of Ramadan.

The spreadsheet data & community impact map demonstrated that Yobe state had the highest number of registered vendors and generated the highest number of tickets (121). A total number of (536) individual’s lives were reached, through vendors on the platform and donors funding support tickets created by those playing the roles of local NGOs (Uncle & Aunty GivFree) within the state.

Records of collated data and recorded are as follows in 5 geo-political zones out of 6 geo-political zones across Nigeria;

We would like to personally extend our gratitude to everyone for your commitment to the success of the Ramadan Meal Project. Without our Donors, local NGOs (Uncle & Aunty GivFree), Vendors, Communities and individual beneficiaries support and enthusiasm, none of this would have happened at such a quick and smooth pace.

The record-breaking success of the Project is a direct reflection of the kind of person you all are — exceptionally dedicated to possibility and willing to do what it takes to realize a vision and serve humanity.

The individuals, families, and communities, we all fed, clothed, and put a smile on their faces would never forget your kind & selfless act.

Thank you all once again.
